Rev. D'Angelo Jiménez

Father Angel (D’Angelo) Jiménez was named administrator of Saint Ann-Saint Lucy Parish on October 1, 2024. He comes from the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus–Saint Gregory the Great, on West 96th Street, where he served as Parochial Vicar since 2020.
Father D’Angelo is from Cuenca, Ecuador. He received his seminary training at St. Leon Magno Seminary in Cuenca, where the curriculum included study at the University Angelicum in Rome. He was ordained in 2007 and was pastor at two parishes in the Cuenca Archdiocese before coming to the United States.
 
Since joining the Archdiocese of New York in 2017, Father D’Angelo served as Parochial Vicar at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, on West 71st Street, and then Holy Name of Jesus–St. Gregory the Great. During that time, he also said weekly and Sunday masses for the Spanish-speaking community at the Church of the Holy Trinity on West 82nd Street.
